City Steam Brew HaHa presents: Jay Nog, Featured on Gotham's City Live

with Mike Keegan and David Hintz

JAY NOG has been entertaining audiences with his rambunctious stand-up comedy since 2004. He is not known for holding back with his material. At first Nog appears scruffy and blunt, but audiences quickly discover his soft side and feel at home with his playful sarcasm. Nog has been featured on MTV, in Talent in Motion magazine as one of NYC’s “top up-and-coming comics”, Nat Geo’s Brain Games, and as a guest host on AMC’s “Movie Date Night”. Nog has opened for national headliners Jim Florentine, Adam Ferrrara, Rich Vos and Patrice O’Neal. He is also a member of the sketch group Grandma’s Favorite and the host of the weekly podcast Childhood Memories.

Mike Keegan

Mike Keegan has had a passion for stand-up comedy for as long as he can remember. It all started by sneaking downstairs to watch comedy specials with his father who worked nights. Mike would recite the bits from his early icons such as Bobby Collins, Richard Jeni, John Pinette and Kevin Meaney any chance he could. In his teens, he started attending live shows at the local comedy clubs and studying the art. It wasn't until a trip to Ireland in college that he finally got on stage after a dare and more than a few pints of Guinness. After the first laugh, he was hooked!

After college and several unfulfilling jobs, Mike decided to get on stage a little closer to home. He started hitting the Long Island and NYC open mic circuits and networking with his fellow comics. Since then, Mike has been carving quite an interesting niche for himself. His affable stage presence and sharp wit have brought him to be seen regularly at The Comic Strip Live, Dangerfield's and Greenwich Village Comedy Club in New York City and he has been featured in Connecticut and the Poconos. He was a finalist in the "Funniest Comic on the East Coast" at Mohegan Sun Resort and Casino and has performed at the Borgata in Atlantic City. He produces several independent monthly comedy shows and is the Co-Host of "This Week In Things" podcast. Outside of stand-up, Mike has also studied sitcom acting under television icon Richard Kline.

In his free time, Mike enjoys fishing, traveling and cuddling with all of the puppies.

David Hintz

Based out of New Haven, CT, David got in to comedy because of a promise he made to himself. “Graduate from college and you can pursue stand-up.” Now, after years of waiting to go on last at open mics only to perform in front of the amount of people you’d expect to stay out until after midnight on a Wednesday, he only has one regret...that he went to college.
