The Brew HaHa Comedy Club Presents: Pete Dominick, Nick Cantone and Camille Theobald

with Camille Theobald and Nick Cantone

Back in 2006, Pete's appearance on the New Faces stage of the Montreal Comedy Festival led to lots of interest, including the opportunity to try radio as host of a fast-paced live comedy hour on the Sirius network's Raw Dog Comedy channel. In early 2008, Pete made the leap to political commentary, starting his own talk show, Pete's Big Mouth. Pete continues to host a 3-hour daily discussion on both Sirius and XM, now called Stand Up! with Pete Dominick, which regularly features some of the biggest names in politics and journalism.

Pete's returning guests span the spectrum from Sen. Bernie Sanders, Shock Doctrine author Naomi Klein, and radical intellectual Noam Chomsky, to outspoken independents like Jesse Ventura, to right-wing stalwarts such as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich and UN Ambassador Jon Bolton. Regulars include Rolling Stone investigative journalist Matt Taibbi, health care policy expert Dr. Aaron Carroll, and anti-racism activist Tim Wise. Listeners credit the show's open-minded approach to serious issues, as well as the host's inviting nature and sharp wit, as the source of their addiction to the weekday call-in program.

The Huffington Post recently called Stand Up! “truly the best political talk show on the air today.” Hollywood Reporter listed Pete in an article featuring personalities to watch in talk radio.

Despite devoting more than a full work day to his radio and TV work, which he balances with an active family life, Pete maintains an affair with his first love, usually managing to hit New York comedy clubs a few nights a week. His second stand-up album is in production now.
